The Auto Finesse Revitalise paint correction system has been developed to provide beginners with everything they need to jump into the world of machine polishing, in one box.

Extensively developed in conjunction with Auto Finesse's detailing sector, the compound polishes have been formulated for use on dual action/random orbital machine polishers.

The Revitalise system is designed for application on all types of paintwork, both vintage single stage and modern two stage, clear coated paintwork.

The Auto Finesse Revitalise paint correction kit includes:

3 x Compounds / polishes

Restoring compound (No:1) is our heavy hitting cutting compound capable of taking care of the most neglected finishes.

Polishing compound (No:2) is our all-rounder, capable of restoring average swirling and paint dullness.

Refining compound (No:3) has been developed to produce an ultra crisp clear finish.

3 x Matching pads

1 x Pad cleaning brush

1 x Masking tape

2 x Microfiber cloths

1 x Pad Prime

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1. Use the masking tape supplied to mask off any sensitive areas such as plastic and aluminium trim, badges, grills and headlamps to prevent polish staining, or “glossing” of matt finished areas, ensure the trim and all gaps are fully dry before proceeding to this stage.
2. After attaching the pad to the backing plate of your polishing machine and taking extra care to ensure the pad is centrally located to the backing plate, add a single spritz of pad prime to the face of the polishing pad, this is to eradicate the likeliness of “dry scrubbing” and lubricates the pad to work smoothly across the paintwork preventing “grabbing” or “hopping”.
3. Apply two small pea sized amounts of product to the pad, in opposite areas on the pad. Apply the pad to the paint surface before starting the polisher. The machine should always be started and stopped whilst on the paintwork to avoid product “sling”.
4. With the machine set to the lowest speed (No:1 – A) spread the product across a section approximately, 2ft x 2ft (60cm x 60cm) then raise the machines speed to somewhere between setting 4-6, depending on what feels comfortable to work at. Apply moderate pressure and work in overlapping passes, ensuring the machine is always spinning as described above in “getting set to polish”.
5. Work the polish until almost clear, the average time per set should be around 1:50 minutes for a set.
6. After each set, remove the polish using the microfiber towel supplied and check with a strong light source.
