Sonax Profiline Ceramic Coating CC Evo
PROFILINE Ceramic Coating CC Evo
Product application
After polishing the paint, PREPARE is sprayed into a microfiber cloth as a basic cleaner, the paint is wiped off with it and prepared for the coating. CC Evo is then to be applied in two stages.
In the first sealing step, BASECOAT Evo is applied thinly to partial areas with an applicator sponge. After a short flash-off time, the excess product is wiped off with an ultra-fine microfiber cloth and only then is a new partial area treated.
After a waiting time of 1 hour, in a second step, the GLOSSCOAT Evo is applied thinly with a new applicator sponge. The flash-off time should be a few minutes up to 10 minutes. Then, here too, the excess product is removed with an ultra-fine microfiber cloth. If the product begins to harden in the sponge in large vehicles, a new application sponge should be used. The completely treated vehicle has to stand in the dry for at least 4 hours and must not get wet during this time. It would be ideal to leave the vehicle in a room overnight. The first vehicle wash may take place after 1 week at the earliest.
WHY IS CARE SENSIBLE AND NECESSARY AFTER COATING THE VEHICLE?
Despite the protective layer, the coated vehicle is still exposed to environmental influences such as insect dirt, tar, rust film or tree sap, which try to deposit on the paint. Also, not all vehicle surfaces are exposed to the same load, so it makes sense to use care products from the outset at certain intervals.
HOW AND WITH WHAT PRODUCTS DO I CARE FOR THE SEALED VEHICLE?
The usual vehicle wash should ideally be done by hand with the PROFILINE Reload Shampoo. Alternatively, the pH-neutral gloss shampoo or the PROFILINE Actifoam for foam washes are suitable. If the latter is used, it is advisable to use PROFILINE Spray + Seal after every third wash or the PROFILINE polymer shield every six months in order to keep the beading at the very highest level.
WHAT DO I DO IN CASE OF EXTREME POLLUTION?
For extremely stubborn dirt, there are special cleaners such as tree sap remover or tar remover. It is important to rub mechanically as little as possible when removing the loosened dirt residue with a polishing fleece. The use of (alkaline) insect removers puts a particularly heavy strain on the coating on the front of the vehicle, so that, depending on the frequency of use, it may be necessary to re-seal these areas. What am I not allowed to do under any circumstances? After coating, the vehicle must not be polished or come into contact with highly alkaline cleaners, such as those used for pre-washing on car washes. This leads to an accelerated degradation of the ceramic layers.
